In the final of Armenia’s Soccer Cup “Pyunik” of Yerevan and “Gandzasar” of Kapan competed for the cup. The match was held in the “Republican” stadium named after Vazgen Sargsyan in Yerevan.

In the final of Armenia’s Soccer Cup “Pyunik” of Yerevan and “Gandzasar” of Kapan competed for the cup. The match was held in the “Republican” stadium named after Vazgen Sargsyan in Yerevan.
At the beginning minutes of the meeting the teams tried more to arrange their match in the first line. After the teams overcame the beginning excitement they conveyed tempo to the meeting.
At the end of the first half of the match “Pyunik” increased pressure to the opponent’s gate. At the added minute of the match Kamo Hovhannisyan took advantage of the wonderful position- 1-0.
At the beginning of the second half it began to rain heavily which, however, stopped a few minutes later. 14 minutes later after the second half had begun “Pyunik” doubled the score. Sargis Baloyan became the author of the goal. The footballers from Kapan threw themselves into a quick counterattack and 3 minutes later Narek Sargsyan reduced the difference of the score.
Artsakhpress reports that after that goal the meeting got a new sweep. “Gandzasar” organized rather successful attacks, while “Pyunik was able to pass on the quick counterattacks, but new goals were not recorded.
