On January 19, an interministerial delegation headed by Artsakh Republic State Minister Grigory Martirosyan visited the school of Sonasar , the northern wing of the Kashatagh region, where construction works are being carried out through private means.
Artsakh State Minister Conducted a Working Consultation in Sonasar
STEPANAKERT, JANUARY 21, ARTSAKHPRESS: Grigory Martirosyan was informed that the works will be completed in the near future and more comfortable conditions will be created for the village pupils.
Afterwards,the State Minister held a working consultation with the participation of more than ten community leaders in Sonasar.
The State Minister first presented the programs envisaged for the residents of the communities within the framework of the state policy, noting that for effective cooperation community leaders should properly inform the residents about the programs. G. Martirosyan also noted with satisfaction that last year the communities of sub-region exceeded their own incomes, which is an important indicator for the resettlement areas.
In their turn, the heads of the communities raised problems of the residents. Among them were issues related to housing, water supply (drinking and irrigation), employment, waste management and internet access in two communities.
G. Martirosyan noted that the state program for providing construction materials will continue, and besides, a new program will be launched that will allow to obtain credit funds for the construction of rural houses with a very low interest rate (about 1%). The Minister emphasized that at present the district administration has the necessary financial and technical resources to support the creation and refurbishment of the housing works, as well as for the solution of such problems in general.
Touching upon the issue of water supply, G. Martirosyan assured that in the coming years systematic solution will be given to the issue of drinking water of the whole republic, including local communities.
At the end of the working day, the delegation headed by State Minister Grigory Martirosyan visited Hochants, got acquainted with the construction works of the house for a large family. State Minister visited Saint Stepanos Church in Hochants , which has been recently renovated by the Tufenkian Foundation.
