Recently, the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh has approved the draft law on increasing the state order for capital investments of the Ministry of Urban Planning by 3 billion 300 million drams. So with this money it will be possible to finish some projects.

STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 15, ARTSAKHPRESS: As the Ministry of Urban Planning of Artsakh Republic informed ''Artsakhpress'', at the beginning of the current year , the state order for capital investments approved by the Artsakh government's decision amounted to 14 billion 200 million AMD.During the year, the program has been amended twice, adding 500, then 350 million drams.If we add the above-mentioned 3 billion 300 million drams, the capital investments in 2018 will amount to 18 billion 350 million drams.

This is an unprecedented figure. With this money urgent problems will be solved in the republic.3 billion 300 million drams will be directed to elimination of damages caused by natural disasters and payments for other works in the field of construction. 2 billion 140 million drams will be directed to the construction and renovation of roads, improvement of Stepanakert streets and financing of engineering works on the frontline.Around 160 million drams will be directed to financing of settlements' water supply.

Construction of a water network is underway in several settlements. Among them are villages of Varanda, Herher, Tsovategh of Martuni Region. Recently, a new project has been launched with the co-financing of French compatriots, within the framework of which water network contruction works are being implemented in Dashoushen, Qrasni and Aygestan villages of the Askeran region.AMD 150 million will be directed to housing construction.
This year, strong winds have damaged a number of buildings both in Stepanakert and regions. The damage caused by the disaster has almost been eliminated. For solving the problem reserve funds, as well as the resources of contracting companies have been used. So 92 million drams will be allocated to these contracting companies.
100 million drams will be directed to providing demanded construction materials in the republic. This year for the first time the regional administrations will be involved in road maintenance.
260 million drams will be provided to the regions for road improvement works, maintenance, sanitary cleaning, landscaping and water supply works.
