STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 17, ARTSAKHPRESS: Hovhannes Keshishyan has been appointed commander of the B unit of the Presidential Guard – in charge of the President’s personal security.

Petros Lapajyan has been appointed commander of the G unit of the Presidential Guard – in charge of the Presidential Palace’s activities.

This is the first time in Lebanon’s modern history that two high ranking Lebanese-Armenian officers are simultaneously appointed to such important positions.
