Lernik Hovhannisyan sums up the work of the Ministry of Culture, Youth Affairs and Tourism of Artsakh Republic for 2019

In 2020 under the draft state budget, the Ministry of Culture, Youth Affairs and Tourism of the Republic of Artsakh has allocated about 106.5 million drams instead of last year’s 104,5 million drams for organizing cultural events.

STEPANAKERT, JANUARY 22, ARTSAKHPRESS:As “Artsakhpress” reports, Minister of Culture, Youth Affairs and Tourism of Artsakh Republic Lernik Hovhannisyan said at today's press conference. The minister noted that in 2019, 34 million drams was allocated for implementing youth projects (35 million drams in 2020). 28 million drams has been allocated to the tourism sector instead of last year’s 25 million. 5 million drams- to the field of religion, 120 million drams has been allocated to the study of the preservation and restoration of monuments (122 million drams this year), 4.5 million drams for publishing works, and 20 million drams has been allocated to the acquisition of centralized property (musical instruments and clothing) instead of last year’s 22 million drams. Speaking about the projects implemented in 2019, the minister noted that a number of events, concerts, exhibitions and jubilee evenings were organized in Artsakh in order to present Artsakh's culture and art in a proper way, to develop a high cultural taste in the society and sow love for national culture.
