Armenian court postpones examination of Robert Kocharyan's attorneys' appeal

STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 26, ARTSAKHPRESS: The Criminal Court of Appeal found that notices have to be sent to those who were recognized as victims on the list of persons whom the investigator had called to show up to court. However, those people are not recognized as victims under any procedural decision and there is no reason for them to participate in this trial.

Besides, the judge stated that the package of documents sent by the first instance court and required for consideration of the motion was incomplete and requested additional documents.

The next trial is scheduled for December 6 at 12:00.

On November 7, the Yerevan court of general jurisdiction, under the chairmanship of Anna Danibekyan, denied Robert Kocharyan’s attorneys’ motion to recognize application of pledge as a preventive measure as permissible for Robert Kocharyan.
