STEPANAKERT, OCTOBER 19,  ARTSAKHPRESS:  Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan walked along the pavilions, got introduced with the products, and talked with the participants on diverse issues.
In an interview with Artsakhpress, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Artsakh, Jirayr Mirzoyan, said that the harvest of about 850 hectares of pomegranate orchards has not been gathered yet.
“2200 tones of pomegranate have already been gathered. We expect to have up to 6,000 tones of harvest,” he said.
The minister noted that the organization of the festival is aimed at discovering the potential of the region, as well as to establish new relations with producers and processing companies.
Head of Martuni regional administration Ararat Melkumyan said that as compared to last year, the number of applications has increased by 35%.

135 pavilions were represented at the festival.

The event was attended by Artsakh State Minister Grigory Martirosyan, Artsakh NA Speaker Ashot Ghoulyan,  state officials, guests and others.
