STEPANAKERT, JUNE 13,  ARTSAKHPRESS: Baroness Caroline Cox  told Artsakhpress after the meeting with the President of the Republic of  Artsakh Bako Sahakyan, noting that she is convinced that Artsakh will one day become internationally recognized.
Caroline Cox  noted that she was in Artsakh during the heaviest times, when Stepanakert was being shelled.
“Every time visiting Stepanakert, progress in every sphere is noticed. The city becomes more and more beautiful. We have witnessed all the sufferings, through which the people of Artsakh went through because of Azerbaijan's policy,” added Caroline Cox.
Talking about the aim of their visit, our interlocutor said that they are in Artsakh first to protect the interests of the citizens and secondly to support them.
"Within the framework of protecting interests, we are going to inform the whole world what is happening in Artsakh and what policy pursues Azerbaijan, especially in schools, in terms of spreading Armenophobia.
As a part of supporting projects, we have been honored to be in Stepanakert Rehabilitation Centre named after Caroline Cox. We are very pleased with the activities carried out by the director of the center Vardan Tadevosyan.  Thanks to considerable works implemented by him the center has become internationally recognizable rehabilitation center, where disabled people receive treatment,”she said.
Referring to CONIFA Sportsbet.io European Football Cup 2019 held in Artsakh, Baroness Caroline Cox   said it is a good opportunity for many people from around the world to visit Artsakh and get acquainted with the country.
Chief Executive Officer of “Health and Hope” Foundation Dr. Sasan who arrived in Artsakh with Baroness Caroline Cox, noted that he lived in Bilma, where 60 million people live.
He supports people with disabilities. A successful example of the Caroline Cox Rehabilitation Center in Stepanakert was a stimulus for him to carry out similar work in his country.
"I have changed the lives of half a million people, for which I express our gratitude to our colleagues from Artsakh and Armenia," said Dr. Sasan.
